Hi, I’m Matt.
Some of my favorite parts of a trip have always happened before takeoff: discovering the perfect hotel, finding the experience no one should miss, and imagining how every day could unfold. I’ve long believed that planning isn’t simply something to get through—it’s part of the anticipation and joy of traveling.
Raised in Rhode Island, I moved to Nashville to build a career in entertainment. For more than 16 years, I shaped stories, built brands, developed partnerships, and created experiences that brought people together—most recently while leading marketing and social strategy for the Academy of Country Music.
That career taught me that the most memorable moments rarely happen by accident. They’re created by listening closely, understanding your audience, nurturing trusted relationships, and caring about the details others might overlook.

I created Acorde Travel from a lifelong love of planning travel and a genuine desire to create meaningful experiences for others.
I approach each journey with curiosity, creativity, and care. I want to understand more than where you want to go. I want to know how you like to travel, what you want this experience to mean, and which moments would make it unforgettable.
My job isn’t to hand you a generic itinerary or simply book what you could find online. It’s to listen, offer honest guidance, connect you with exceptional places and experiences, and bring everything together in harmony.

I was born and raised in Rhode Island, where family, the coastline, and a great plate of seafood are never far away. Nashville became my second home when I moved south to build a career in music and entertainment. Both places shaped me in very different ways.

My favorite role is being a husband and dad. My family keeps me laughing, grounded, and constantly reminded that the best memories usually come from experiencing something together. I’m also an eternal optimist—the person who genuinely believes something wonderful could be waiting around the next corner.

I’ve always been the person researching the hotel, making the dinner reservation, organizing the details, and keeping a backup plan tucked away just in case. For me, anticipation is part of the adventure—and finding the little touch that makes an experience even better is half the fun.

Give me a journey shared with people I love, a beautiful place to stay, something delicious to eat, and enough of a plan that no one is standing around asking, “So…what do we do now?”
I’ll happily board a cruise, will never outgrow the magic of Disney, and believe trips with friends produce the very best souvenirs: stories and inside jokes you’ll still be repeating years later. Bonus points for an ocean view, a great cocktail, and a little room for spontaneity.
